25. Mt. Pyre
Fortree City, Route 120, Route 121, Route 122, Mt. Pyre.
Walkthrough
Walk east from Fortree City along Route 120 to Route 121. Three Team Aqua grunts there talk about Mt. Pyre and march off south.
Route 121 continues east to Lilycove City. Your rival is in Lilycove and offers a fifth battle, which you can turn down. The city has the Department Store, the Move Deleter, the Cove Lily Motel and a harbor. Wailmer block the sea east of the city until chapter 27.
The Safari Zone gate is also on Route 121, but you cannot get in. The gate only admits players with a Pokéblock Case, which comes from the Contest Lobby in Lilycove, and the Contest Lobby is not in the game.
Not in the game yet
Pokémon Contests are not in the game. The Contest Lobby, the Lilycove Museum and the Pokémon Trainer Fan Club in Lilycove cannot be entered, and without the Pokéblock Case the Safari Zone stays closed.
Tracked as PO-353.To follow Team Aqua, surf south from Route 121 across Route 122 to Mt. Pyre. Climb the six floors of graves inside, then the misty outdoor path up the mountain.
At the summit, Archie takes the
Red Orb and leaves. Team Magma
had already taken the
Blue Orb. The old woman who guards the orbs gives you the
Magma Emblem Team Magma dropped, so you can find their hideout.
Key battles
May or Brendan
Your rival is May if you play as a boy and Brendan if you play as a girl; the teams are the same.
