8. Rusturf Tunnel

Walkthrough

Talk to the Devon employee at the east edge of Rustboro City, then walk east along Route 116. The route has several trainers and the Tunneler's Rest House.

At the end of the route, Mr. Briney is standing outside the mouth of Rusturf Tunnel. The grunt has taken his Wingull, Peeko, into the tunnel.

Go into the tunnel and battle the grunt. When you win, he gives back the Devon Goods and runs off, and Mr. Briney takes Peeko home to his cottage on Route 104.

The tunnel does not go through to Verdanturf Town yet: a wall of rocks blocks it. You come back with Rock Smash in chapter 16.
