10. Dewford Gym

Walkthrough

On your way out of Rustboro City, your rival stops you for a second battle. Their team is a little stronger than on Route 103.

Talk to Mr. Briney in his cottage on Route 104 and he sails you to Dewford Town. A fisherman by the dock gives you the Old Rod.

The Dewford Gym is dark, and you can only see a small circle around you. The circle grows each time you beat one of the gym's six trainers. Brawly uses Fighting types, so Flying and Psychic moves work well. He gives you the Knuckle Badge and TM08.

Mr. Briney's boat stays at Dewford, ready to take you on to Slateport once you have delivered the letter.
