17. Fiery Path to Fallarbor

Walkthrough

Go north out of Mauville City onto Route 111. The Winstrate family's house is at the south end of the route; they battle you one after another. Further north, a sandstorm covers the desert, and you cannot cross it without the Go-Goggles.

Turn west onto Route 112. The Cable Car station up Mt. Chimney is here, but two Team Magma grunts stand in front of it. Take the path into Fiery Path instead and walk through it to the north part of Route 112. The boulders inside the Fiery Path need Strength and only guard items, TM06 and a Fire Stone, not the way through.

Head back east across the north part of Route 111, above the desert. The old lady's rest stop here heals your party. Then follow Route 113 east. Volcanic ash from Mt. Chimney falls on this route and covers the grass. The Glass Workshop is on this route.

At the end of Route 113 is Fallarbor Town. Prof. Cozmo's house is here, but he has gone to Meteor Falls. The Move Relearner also lives in Fallarbor and teaches a Pokémon a move it has forgotten in exchange for a Heart Scale.
