15. Mauville Gym

Walkthrough

The Mauville Gym is in the middle of Mauville City. Electric beams block the way to the leader. Switches on the floor turn the beams on and off; step on them until a path opens to the back of the room.

Wattson uses Electric types. Ground types are immune to Electric moves and hit his Pokémon hard. He gives you the Dynamo Badge and TM34.

With the Dynamo Badge, you can use Rock Smash outside battle. You get the HM for it in the next chapter.
