Walkthrough

As you leave the Gym, Professor Oak's aide arrives from Pallet Town with a gift from Mom: the Running Shoes. They let you run on foot.

Heal up and buy Poké Balls and Potions at the Pewter Mart. The road east, Route 3, leads to Mt. Moon, which is a long walk without a Pokémon Center inside.
