Breeding & Day Care
There is no Day Care, no breeding and no eggs yet.
Not in the game yet
The Day Care, breeding and eggs are not in the game. Pokémon cannot be left to raise, no egg is ever found, and nothing hatches.
Tracked as PO-252.What you will meet today:
- The Day Care on Kanto's Route 5. The Day-Care Man's conversation ends as it does on the cartridge when you say no; he never takes a Pokémon.
- The Day Care on Route 117. The man outside tells you to see his wife if you want a Pokémon raised, but the house's door does not open ("The road ahead has not been built yet").
- The egg in Lavaridge Town. The woman who offers a Wynaut egg plays her scene, then you are told the egg could not be taken along. Accepting uses up the offer.
- Egg moves. The game's data lists each species' egg moves, but no Pokémon can learn one at this release.
The plan is the Emerald Day Care first: deposit, egg compatibility, the egg counter and hatching.
