Groups

A group is part of the Group Ironman game mode. You form or join one when you make the character, and it lasts for that character's life. There is no way to party up with other players outside that mode.

• Forming. When making a Group Ironman character, start a new group or join one with its code. A group has up to 5 members. The join code is shown once; after 10 wrong codes in an hour your account must wait.
• The Group window. Open it from the Esc menu or Community → Group on the menu bar (shown only while you are in a group). It lists the members, their roles and, in Hardcore, the shared lives.
• The leader can make a new code, remove a member, hand over leadership, or close the group to new members.
• Leaving. A member who leaves or is removed carries on as a solo Ironman for good.
• Shared boxes. Members share PC boxes in the same PC window.
