Pickup

What Pokémon with Pickup find after battle, by level.

After you win a battle, each Pokémon in your party with the Pickup ability that is holding nothing has a 1 in 10 chance to find an item. The server rolls it. The item depends on the Pokémon's level: one roll is made down that level's column of the table below.

Differs from the mainline games

The table and the ten level brackets are the Generation 9 ones, not Emerald's. Like Generation 9, a trainer battle gives every Pokémon back the item it started with, so a Pickup find from a trainer battle is lost when the battle ends. In practice Pickup pays out in wild battles.

Three rows (Big Nugget, Balm Mushroom, Bottle Cap) are items the game does not have yet; landing on one finds nothing.

Pickup also works during battle as in Generation 9: at the end of a turn, a Pokémon with Pickup and no item picks up an item another Pokémon used up that turn (in a wild battle, its own as well).

Honey Gather is coded but finds nothing, because the game has no Honey item.
