Version 0.56.0
Released 2026-09-29
Battles
- Dive, Fly, Dig and other two-turn moves strike on their own without asking again, and the user vanishes until they land.
- In double battles the move hint now names the foe it is for, and each of your Pokemon opens the fight menu on its own last move.
- In double battles, B on your second Pokemon's menu goes back to your first Pokemon's choice, unless it is locked into a move.
- Losing the first rival battle in Oak's lab no longer whites you out or costs money; the story carries on as it does on the cartridge.
- A battle the server is too slow to start is now called off with a message, instead of being fought offline and losing its exp.
Interface
- Highlighting a move on the summary's Moves page shows its type, category, power, accuracy, PP and description.
- Drag the corner of the Bag, Party, Summary, Trainer Card or Pokedex to resize it. The size is kept; double-click the corner to reset it.
- Windows opened over the title screen, such as What's new and Settings, no longer let the login card show through them.
Fixes
- The Trainer Card no longer grows a sideways scrollbar at any interface scale; long values wrap onto a second line instead.
- The message box never scrolls: a list of choices fits without a scrollbar, and a long page moves up a line at a time like the original.
Known issues
- Hidden Power has a flat power of 60, but its type cannot be changed with Gems yet (PO-778).
- Relic Song, Embargo and ten Gen 3 effect moves such as Transform, Substitute and Mimic are stubs (PO-769).
- A battle refused for another reason than a slow start, such as one already open, is still fought offline (PO-794).
- Double battles have no compact layout on small interfaces yet (PO-763).
- Castform does not change form in weather.
