Reporting bugs

Choose Report a bug in the Esc menu or in the menu bar's Menu group. The game takes a screenshot just before the window opens. (The console command bugreport does the same.)

In the window:

• Describe what happened and what you expected (up to 4000 characters).
• Keep or drop the screenshot, and attach up to three more images with Attach image….
• Press Send.

The report carries your note, the images, where you are, your party, the build you run, your system (OS, graphics, window) and the last lines of the game's log, with passwords, tokens, emails and addresses removed. Only the developers read reports.

After sending you get a reference like BR-123, already copied to your clipboard; quote it if you talk to the team about the problem. If you are offline, the report is kept and sent later.

You can send 6 reports an hour and 30 a day. Reporting is only available in game, not on the title screen.
