Battles

  • Stat changes, Sandstorm, Doom Desire, Smokescreen and Metal Claw's steel shine now animate, and move backgrounds scroll as in Emerald.
  • Surf, Dig, Dragon Dance, Fake Out, Double Team, Ice Ball, Attract, Haze and a dozen more moves now animate as in Emerald.
  • Encore, Curse, Heal Bell, Overheat, Shock Wave, Role Play, Wish and 19 more moves now animate as in Emerald.

Interface

  • The ROM wizard now re-extracts only what is missing or out of date and says why first; Settings > Game Data can rebuild everything.

Fixes

  • Paging through battle text with A no longer cuts off a move's sound; it plays out under the next message as in Emerald.
  • Substitute drops its doll in battle and the doll stands in until it breaks; the game re-extracts from your ROM once to add it.
  • A thrown ball now flies Emerald's high arc, draws the Pokemon in, drops and bounces, rocks with sounds and darkens steadily on a catch.
